Getting Started

How do I get started?

Choose the class date that works best for your schedule and submit your registration form online. Once your registration is received, we'll guide you through the next steps, including your background check, health requirements, tuition payment, and preparing for your first day of class.

How long does it take to complete the program?

Our 92-hour Certified Nursing Assistant training program can typically be completed in just a few weeks, depending on the class schedule you choose. This allows many students to begin working in healthcare much sooner than traditional education programs.

When should I register?

We recommend registering as early as possible. Class sizes are limited to 16 students, and your seat is reserved only after all enrollment requirements and tuition payment have been completed.

Classes & Schedule

What is the class schedule like?

We offer both full-time and part-time class options to fit different schedules. Full-time classes meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while evening classes are offered periodically throughout the year for students who need greater flexibility.

Will I get hands-on experience?

Yes. Our program combines classroom instruction with supervised lab practice and 20 hours of clinical experience in an active healthcare facility. You'll work alongside experienced healthcare professionals while developing the skills needed to provide quality patient care.

Can I work while taking this class?

Many students are able to continue working while enrolled, especially if they choose an evening class. Because the daytime program is accelerated and intensive, you'll want to carefully consider your schedule before enrolling.

Requirements

What are the requirements to enroll in the CNA program?

Before your class begins, you'll need to complete a criminal background check, provide proof of a recent TB test, submit a flu vaccine if required during flu season, and pay your tuition before the class start date. Our team will guide you through each step of the enrollment process.

Do I need healthcare experience before taking CNA classes?

No. No previous healthcare experience is required. Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program is designed for beginners and will teach you the knowledge, hands-on skills, and clinical experience needed to begin a career in patient care.

What do I need to bring to class?

Students should bring scrubs and closed-toe shoes for clinical training. Your gait belt and name tag are provided as part of the program, and we'll send you additional information before your first day so you know exactly what to expect.

Certification

What happens after I complete the CNA program?

After successfully completing the program, you'll be eligible to take the Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification exam, administered by Credentia. The exam includes both a written knowledge test and a hands-on skills evaluation.

How much does the Colorado CNA certification exam cost?

The Colorado CNA certification exam currently costs approximately $170 and is paid separately from tuition. We recommend confirming current testing fees with Credentia before registering, as pricing may change.

Where can I work after becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant?

After earning your CNA certification, you'll be qualified to work in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, home healthcare, hospice care, and other healthcare settings. Many students also use their CNA experience as a stepping stone toward careers in nursing, medicine, physical therapy, and other healthcare professions.

Policies

Is my spot guaranteed after I register?

Your class seat is reserved only after you've completed all enrollment requirements and your tuition has been paid in full. Because class sizes are limited, we recommend completing these steps as early as possible to secure your spot.

What is your tuition refund policy?

Tuition becomes non-refundable once your class begins. If your plans change before your scheduled start date, please contact our team as soon as possible so we can discuss your available options.

What happens if I miss a CNA class?

Attendance is required for both classroom instruction and clinical training. Missing required hours may affect your ability to successfully complete the program and meet Colorado CNA certification requirements. If you anticipate missing class, contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

Can I transfer to a different class date?

Depending on availability, you may be able to transfer to a future class if you notify us before your scheduled start date. Please contact our team as early as possible so we can review your options.

What happens if I don't complete my enrollment requirements before class starts?

If required items such as your background check, TB test, health documentation, or tuition payment are not completed before your class begins, your reserved seat may be released to another student. Completing these requirements early helps ensure you're ready to start on time.

Can I receive a refund if I don't pass the class or certification exam?

Tuition covers your classroom instruction, lab training, clinical experience, and educational materials. Because these resources are provided throughout the program, tuition is non-refundable once classes begin. While our instructors are committed to preparing you for success, passing the course and the Colorado CNA certification exam ultimately depends on your participation, attendance, and performance.
